Terms of Service

Please be guided by the below listed terms and conditions for the sale. Any deviations to these terms must be noted in written documentation from Limerick Furniture. No verbal commitments will be honored.

Customer Pick Up:

Items may be picked up at our South Mall - Allentown showroom.  Items will only be held at store for 10 days before being returned to warehouse. A $20.00 “re­ship” fee will be apply if items are returned.  Pick up of your orders may be done only during specified pick up hours and days. You MUST have help to load and secure your merchandise. Pick up of items is at your own risk and we cannot be held responsible for damage caused to your merchandise or personal property due to handling, securing or transporting of your purchase. Upon receipt of your merchandise, you are responsible for any damages that may occur during transport. Notification within 24 hours is required for reporting any defect. Transportation and/or home service costs are the responsibility of the consumer. Limerick Furniture, at its discretion, will restore said furniture to its original quality by parts replacement, repair or product.

Delivery:

 

Your delivery is a drop-off only in the room of your choice.  As a courtesy to our customers, delivery personnel will unwrap and set up upholestery (sofas, loveseats, recliners, and chairs.) Delivery charges are as follows:

  • Subtotal of invoice up to $499.99 - $75
  • Subtotal of invoice $500-$999.99 - $105
  • Subtotal of invoice $1000-$1499.99 - $120
  • Subtotal of invoice $1500 - $2499.99 - $145
  • Subtotal of invoice $2500 - $3499.99 - $195
  • Subtotal of invoice $3500 - $4499.99 - $245
  • Subtotal of invoice over $4500 - call store for price

There is a $35 per floor additional charge for deliveries above the second floor.  (The first flight of stairs the delivery personnel must climb is included in delivery fee.)  If building has a freight elevator, then there is no walk up charge.  

Stock items (excludes clearance, special order and as is) that cannot fit into your home by reasonable means will be returned. Delivery fees are not refundable and a 15% restocking fee will be applied for these returns. If you are not home on the mutually agreed delivery date, you will be assessed the delivery charge. 48 Hour notice is required to change your delivery date. A service fee equal to the delivery fee will apply if 48 hour notice is not met. You must have someone over 18 years old to accept delivery. Notification within 24 hours is required for reporting any delivery damage or defect. Limerick Furniture, at its discretion, will restore said furniture to its original quality by parts replacement, repair or product exchange. You are responsible for a safe and reasonably accessible pathway at your home for your furniture delivery.

Clearance and As Is Items:

These items have no warranty implied or expressed. All items should be inspected by you prior to executing this agreement and any damages, defects or irregularities will be noted on the face of this document.

Special Orders:

Special orders are any item that Limerick Furniture does not keep as stocking inventory. Any change of fabric or color is a special order. Items unable to fit into your home or room using our normal delivery procedures will require additional charges. Estimated time of arrival (ETA) is merely as average expected time. Limerick Furniture is not obligated to this estimate.

Manufacturer Warranty:

Stock items will have the manufacturer warranty as stipulated by manufacturer. Limerick Furniture does not warrant merchandise, however, we will assist you with any manufacturer warranty. Merchandise will NOT be accepted without prior authorization from our service department. Items sold “As Is” have no manufacturer warranty. Any showroom model (excluding As Is) will retain the manufacturer warranty for internal components only.

All Sales Final:

Once this agreement is executed, you cannot cancel this sale. No refund, exchange or modification may be made. No other terms or conditions will be valid unless there is written documentation from Limerick Furniture.  Estimated time of arrival (ETA) for your merchandise is merely an average expected time.  Limerick Furniture is not obligated to this estimate.
